Weechees­-Req] req for Oracle dba at GA (Need only US Citizen, Green card holders or EAD)

We are currently looking for a Mid Level DBA for a contract to hire position.

 

Must be a US Citizen, Green card Holders or EAD

 

6 MONTHS CONTRACT AND THEN HIRE

 

Our client is a Financial Service company based out of Atlanta GA.

 

Immediate requirement.

Qualifications:
-Excellent (oral and written) communication and interpersonal skills
-Requires 4-yr degree in Computer Science (related area) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
-Minimum 6 years systems development and relational database technologies experience
-Experience in system administration, specifically UNIX (AIX and SOLARIS)
-Experience in Shell and Perl programming
-Minimum 4 years experience with logical-physical database design
-Strong knowledge of database concepts and Oracle architectures
-Experience with as many of the following database tools and technologies: PL/SQL, OEM, RMAN, RAC, Data guard, ORACLE PORTAL, AIX, SOLARIS
 Responsibilities include:
-Support multiple development teams with all Database related activities
-Create and maintain physical and logical Data Model's
-Performing database server installations and upgrades
-Applying Oracle software patches.
-Setting up standby database servers and Real Application Clusters
-Troubleshooting performance problems
-Writing and debugging PL/SQL scripts and stored procedures
-Perform Oracle database installation & upgrade, backup & recovery, performance analysis & tuning.
-Writing operational guidelines and step-by-step instructions for the team to follow.
-Provide on-call support for production database systems after hours and on weekends.
-Design, document, and develop tools, scripts, processes, and standard operating procedures for improving efficiency.
